HIV / AIDS Education Support Group Moderator

  • Description
    We are seeking a motivated, educated individual to facilitate a weekly HIV / AIDS education support group for individuals infected with or at high risk of contracting the disease. Topics to include disease prevention, maintenance, stigma management, community building and other topics at the moderator's discretion.
  • Hours
    12 pm to 3 pm every Saturday
  • Skills
    Education or experience working with HIV at-risk and positive individuals. A commitment to support of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Questioning communities. Understanding of support group moderation, conflict resolution and grounding techniques. Ability to establish a personal rapport with group participants who may identify and mental health consumers, queer or both. Punctuality and reliability a must. commitment to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender mental health issues, experience with community relations, good customer service and communication skills, good phone etiquette.

Daytime Receptionist 

  • Description
    We are seeking multiple individuals to greet and process visitors to our Wellness and Recovery Center, answer phone calls and provide information both in person and over the telephone. Light office work may also be required.
  • Hours
    10 am to 2 pm Wednesdays through Saturdays (Negotiable)
  • Skills
    A commitment to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender mental health issues, experience with community relations, good customer service and communication skills, good phone etiquette.

Afternoon Receptionist 

  • Description
    We are seeking multiple individuals to greet and process visitors to our Wellness and Recovery Center, answer phone calls and provide information both in person and over the telephone. Light office work may also be required.

    2 pm to 6 pm Wednesdays through Saturdays (Negotiable)
  • Skills
    A commitment to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender mental health issues, experience with community relations, good customer service and communication skills, good phone etiquette.
